IIRC, Mississsippi Goddam is a red state.

Since the amendment was ratified quite a while ago, the hold out was only symbolic, if even that. So, it was an easy--and totally moot-- thing to give up for the cause.

Not saying, I'm cynical. Just saying I'm cynical.

And now both Parties can get to play the identity politics game.

We've been at it longer, so we should be able to beat them at it.

If we choose. That's the key, isn't it? If we choose.
