1. If not for celiac disease I would like to eat the gingerbread house.
Several years ago my wife and I thought we would embark on the task of making seasonal fruit cakes. Why we decided to do this has escaped my memory banks. My mother in law made fruit cakes every year before we lost her to cancer. Maybe that is why, can't remember.

Anyway, our fruit cakes were really quite excellent. Then, the celiac disease struck. Fuck. I had grown fond of fruit cake. At least our home-made ones. Oh well, our oven doesn't work anyway.

"The identities of all donors will be posted regularly on the committees website" This is encouraging, at least. Wonder if the Pres will invite the homophobic Rick Warren again.
