4. I agree.
People are still inclined to trust PBS as a source of honest reporting. And therein lies the danger. There has been wholesale media consolidation and takeover by right wing extremists. This nation is fucked. This is not the time to allow Murdoch to buy more newspapers.

But the President's response to Fox "News" is puzzling. Why would the President consent to an interview with Fox when it is perfectly obvious that they don't have shred of integrity? Why lend these fuckers credibility they do not deserve. And Fox was even insulting during the interview! I think the President should hire me as a consultant. We wouldn't have any more of these boneheaded bullshit moves.
