I have been trying to eliminated additives from my diet.
Even most organic cream tends to contain contain things like carrageenen, a carcinogenic that is, among other things, a non-meat alternative to gelatin.
Why? To make it whip better or faster or something.
You may get a cancer of the colon or ulcerative colitis, but just think that how much better your whipped cream will look or how many seconds with the electric mixer you will save.
As if people who are willing to spend more on organic cream want a carcinogenic in their cream because they are willing to risk physical problems for whipping speed or appearance.
Seriously, how effed up is our food industry, even the organic industry, apparently?
