1. Don't be silly. The war in Iraq is over. The war in Afghanistan will end in 2014 and again in 2024.

I am speaking loosely, of course, because neither of them have been wars for years. Apparently, peace has been killing and maiming people in those countries. Orwell gave us only half the newspeak equation. The full one is, "War is peace and peace is war."

Now, we are massing in the East. And there's always Iran. So, fear not, military contractors. You will always have plenty of opportunities to make money on fatal and disabling activities.
