"One of the reason stuff like this is so popular with young people, even if it was originally geared for kids, is because people are tired of the consistent nihilism, bloody mindedness, and negativity of shows like South Park and Family Guy that are considered "adult" primetime shows on Fox (of course). Bronies are very much against that. Especially Fox."

And, I remember "Mr. Rogers." Also remember that he had a "certain following" and his competition was the growing violent cartoons with snark and stuff that were popular with another "certain following."

Sort of the "Pro-Peace and Lets all Get along even if we are different" side by side with kids viewing cartoons that more closely related to the life they were living that was violent with snark and other stuff.

I also remember when ABC used to have some very good afternoon drama shows that talked about "Teen Issues." Those sort of got dropped along the way for some unknown reason.

I'll check out the vids.
