as intelligent as the average person who has figured all of this out without the access they have to resources to look into these things. I remember during the Bush years when it was revealed by one of the Dems, Henry Waxman maybe, that in the run-up to the Iraq War, there was a report about WMDs available to Dems before the vote that gave Bush the authority to go to war. He said that while they knew it was available, they chose not to read it. Iow, they did not want to know the facts before they voted as they could then claim they believed there was a threat.

That is called willful ignorance and it is inexcusable imho.
