Reply #31: Occupy should go to neither partys convention

To protest. In fact they should emphasize that they want nothing to do with either of them. Occupy should hold its own national conventions, one on each coast so more people can make it.They should hold these events in Occupy friendly cities, to make sure they aren't shut down. These events should be held at the same time as the dem and rethug conventions, forcing them to compete for publicity. I would love to see reporters asking pols why the issues - the real life issues brought up by Occupy - are strangely absent from the two party failures conventions.
