5. Interesting that the biggest oil producer has almost no presence.
Wonder why? I'd say one of the primary functions of our bases is to act as a lightening rod for the religious extremists and assorted terrorists in the region....and keep the House of Saud stabilized by providing a multi-base distraction.

And we, the taxpayer, through our $700BB/year Defense budget, are helping to make sure the gas gets to our local gas station where we, the consumer, can get properly gouged at the pump.
