Laws don't matter. That's what civil disobedience is about.

And this kind of stuff just adds to the ranks and moral standing of the dissenters. I'm seeing minds change among friends that I believed could never be turned from the Dark Side.

This is great PR for OWS. The status quo is noticing them and passing laws to fight their tactics. The status quo doesn't pass laws unless they fear something.
