88. Are these pills available without talking to a pharmacist in any other country?

Just curious.
I'm actually confused as to what exactly the problem is. The title of this OP seems to indicate that the issue is the fact that you have to ask a pharmacist for it rather than just pulling it off a shelf and taking it to the counter ("all women")... but other threads seemed to focus more on the fact that young teens couldn't get it without a prescription.
I'm just trying to find out if the US is being backwards here or if this decision is more in line with what's done in other countries.
