But honestly, it's fucking idiotic. Oral contraceptives in general should be available OTC, including but not limited to emergency contraception. At least as long as we live in a country full of out of control authoritarians and control freaks, like jesus-drunk pharmacists with nothing better to do than hold some woman's birth control pills hostage until she repents for her fornication.

It's the same beltway conventional wisdom asshattery that is spurring him on to piss away billions in taxpayer dollars to drag pot smoking cancer grannies off to prison by what little hair they have left, right now. Not only is it morally wrong, but it's dumb and it shows very little understanding of where the American public is actually AT. If he would actually LEAD on issues like choice, or personal freedom, or the 1st amendment, or ending the drug war, or full marriage equality for LGBT citizens, he would GAIN votes and INSPIRE people with his brave and genuine LEADERSHIP.

As it is, I'll call this crap for what it is- chickenshit.
