3. Going to the link, what we don't know is:
Was the dog a rescue on the way to a good family to take care of it?

Was it a family pet that had been lost and found and was making its way to its loving home, regardless of its condition?

Or was it simply being shipped somewhere to be abused more?

It doesn't make sense that the owner of a hunting dog would want a dog in that condition for purposes of hunting. It would be unable to perform its function, if that is what it appears.

Did the air carrier have a veterinarian, papers explaining why this dog was being shipped in that condition, and more importantly, were the owners on that flight? Were they asked what the story was?

That being said, the way it's being reported by the employee is that the air carrier didn't care if the dog was 'dead meat' by the time it got to its destination. And I applaud the woman for speaking out and trying to get attention to the animal's plight. But there are a lot of gaps in that short story.

I wonder if we'll ever know what happened to the hapless dog. This would be a good one for our posters in Nevada to find out about, see what the rules are in Nevada and if this is as bad as it appears.

The fact that she lost her job, not just disciplined for not acting like a robot is more proof how corporations are dehumanizing everything.
