90. That's how I remember it.
I liked Gene McCarthy myself, but I would have voted for Hubert Humphrey gladly if it hadn't been for Chicago. At that point, after all we had been through the past eight years, I couldn't take any more and dropped out of the political process altogether (except for protest marches and such) for several years. The system disgusted me, and I didn't want to have anything to do with it. 1968 was the first year I could have voted, but instead I chose to "turn on, tune in and drop out." Abrogation of my civic duty, I suppose, but I have no regrets.
