you're going to find that the more "popular" a poster feels they are on DU - how large their fan club is - the more they feel the rules do not apply to them.
It always amazes me the folks that get branded heroes (she-roes) around here. It appears that the easiest way to be popular in some forums is just post 33 or more OPs bashing the president every single day. And it really does seem that there are a few people in GD that post 33 or more OPs in GD EVERY SINGLE DAY.
More often than not, I find that the more "popular" someone is on DU, the more unhinged and hysterically ignorant I find them to be. But I guess it must be a bit challenging finding something of use and substance to put in those 33 or more OPs every day.
