I like to experience DU at full blast, good and bad. I don't really have any personal issues with people here so I don't use it. I don't really understand why people would want to use it. I think it's a way of sheltering themselves from certain ideas. The only valid reason for using ignore in my view is dealing with stalkers. Other than that, bring it on.

As far as being baited into violating DU rules, I take that to mean that you don't want to get angry. You control yourself on DU and may choose to break the rules (most of the time, sometimes accidents happen).

I guess the list is a necessity because some people can't handle certain ideas or people on DU. I'd prefer to have a DUer with a massive ignore list stay and contribute ideas than leave because they feel harassed. The downside to this is they hardly reply to anything.
