Or why choosing not to do so would make them enablers. If a broadcast team did that, I would certainly respect the decision and respect them for taking their stand. But it isn't what I would choose to do if it were me in that position. Rather than making a statement by renouncing the broadcast booth, I would use the power of the broadcast booth to make a statement (or several).

Yeah, I've a tendency to focus on context as well (though I'm not a sociologist by training). It's a good thing to do, and the world probably needs more of it. But I guess it won't always lead to agreement about tactics
