Alas, I never saw him as a neoliberal until way too late, but I did have severe concerns about his penchant for hyper-bipartisanship. You can't reason with the insane, and he just didn't get it and still doesn't.
But I finally just figured that I must be missing something with the whole bleepin' world adoring him and kinda jumped on the wagon too. I know that he has a higher purpose, so I really shouldn't be too hard on him. But I sometimes wonder if he's actually doing the job he was called upon to do (by the Universe, not the people -- he has very clearly let the people down!).
