I first picked up on this one a few months back when some pundit or blowhard
was banging on the old "support the job creators" plank again:

WE are the job creators.

WE, the ones who buy stuff.

WE, who pay bills, who pay rent, who (try to) pay off our loans,

WE are the ones putting up the money that goes into employees' pockets.

It's certainly not the employers, at least as long as they're turning a profit.
It's OUR money they take, OUR money they pocket,
and whatever's left of OUR money
is what they pass on to their employees.

They may "create" the jobs,
but WE pay the salaries
that make those jobs possible.


Don't let anyone tell you what it's like for the job creators.

You already know.
