I remember a long time ago reading about people who claim to be Christians, who if they were out on trial would be acquitted for lack of evidence. Bumper stickers, church membership, etc. are not true measures of a person's faith. I had a discussion one time with someone who said that all non-Christains were going to hell. I told her if she truly believed that it was her responsibility to quit her job, sell all of her possesions and become a missionary, putting her life on the line. Anything less would be unchristian. Those of who believe in a more loving God were required to help others less fortunate than us and work for peace, without having to necessarily put our life on the line. She did not agree.
