Notice how many of their "anchor-ettes" resemble blow-up dolls? They probably have greta on there merely as a visual token.

You may not be old enough to remember when george h.w. bush ran for president in his own right, in 1988, coming off being reagan's VP. He chose the distressingly thick dan quayle as his VP and I clearly remember, when quayle was announced, reading a quote in some of the coverage how one of the things that made quayle appealing was his good looks. It was referred to as "one for the ladies" (paraphrasing but only slightly). These people are all about looks, SURFACE looks. Everything superficial. It's all there on the surface and that's distracting enough so it occurs to NO ONE to go any deeper. Deep? Say what? What's that? Go deeper? What for? It's great just like this - instant gratification. Thinking need not apply. No need for objective analysis or fact-based reality. Just be one mindless gaping maw consuming whatever info the powers-that-be wish America to have. While America gets distracted by the "shiny girls" you mention up top, SwampG8r.
