Are you just going to let them die?

Republicans and their ravening base, the Tea Party, get by too easy otherwise. They don't want to be responsible for letting people die. They just want to let them die and have the knowledge of it go away in a puff of magic. They just want the sick people who aren't covered by insurance not to exist in reality. They think they can vote and wish that into existence. If enough of them agree to agree with each other, it worked.
