24. The "commemoration" is more like wallowing.
Wallowing for fun and profit, I might add. And they hype is astronomical. "The day that changed the world". Really the title of one of these wallow-fests.

The vast majority of people know no one who was personally involved, nor were they even in the vicinity. So how can they say they are "traumatized" by it still? I think the answer is that our government WANTS us traumatized and compliant, so that we do not question the bullshit: the unnecessary, illegal wars in the name of 9/11, the destruction of more and more civil liberties, the unconstitutional actions of the Bush AND Obama administration. The more traumatized and the more they play it up, the easier it is for the government to do these things.
