the union LEADERSHIP is ALWAYS to the right of the rank and file. So if the union leadership is acting militant, you can BET that the membership is REAL militant.
The leadership is always a part of the labor aristocracy and HEAVILY vested in the system. They only get militant when they have no choice but to get militant.
