and characterization of other Democrats. I see many, many posters here engage in snarky, aggressive methods of engagement that I KNOW do not work door to door, face to face. This is not about you, it is about the contradictory messages sent by those who come on with full tilt name calling and labeling who also speak of all the work we have to do locally. It is high time that those who both engage in snark and labeling and wail about needing boots on the ground to be asked how that snark works on their own block, and if it does not work, why the hell they do it here.
I read many of the more OFA ardent posts that are simply rude. Not yours so much, which is why I attempted to ask you to explain, for the sake of readers, how such methods as those in the OP compare and contrast to what you really do, face to face. MM the fact is no one knocks on a door and starts in with derision and sarcasm. Yet many do it here. It is high time that people be asked if that which they do here is that which they do face to face. It is time for them to consider that if it does not work in life, it will not work anywhere, because this place is made of people, just as your block is made of people. If a tactic would fail face to face, I think it should be seen as a failed tactic, not employed against other DUers.
So, you do not do in your own backyard what is done in the OP. That is interesting. Seems you reject the OP style and tactics when you have to face the voters. Interesting indeed. Cake, and also eat it, I guess.
