138. It's not the obligation of the bullied to stop bullying.
I was just talking about this earlier today with another woman IRL- I used to think that as a pretty tough, stronger-than-I-look woman I could pretty much take care of myself. Dudes are stronger than me. Almost invariably. It's hormones. I have self-defense training, I know how to use my size to my advantage, what parts of a human body are easy to injure and how to do it. In a physical situation even an untrained male of unimpressive condition has a huge advantage over me: They're stronger, and they're probably faster, because they're almost invariably taller and have longer legs. If the obligation to prevent bullying falls on the bullied to "teach the bully a lesson" by kicking their ass, then young women will be bullied and abused by young men. Period.
