and I agree that public education needs to be protected but "..out in full force attacking unions...teachers...public education.." - A bit of hyperbole there??
When I hear Obama talk, I hear the beginnings of a conversation not an edict so I guess it bothers me that people immediately stake their positions and refuse to even listen or provide their own ideas. Writing on a site like this is one thing but being in charge of governing is another and in that position, it's important to look at all sides. I read what he said about unions recently, and it was far from an attack - it was an explanation of all the benefits workers have thanks to unions.
