euphemisms for "cut." Obama wants to cut Medicare.

He named the members to the Cat Food Commission -- the majority of whom favored cutting those programs.

He uses the term "entitlements" constantly. It is a misnomer.

And, Obama appointed Geithner who is a Pete Peterson protege to his cabinet.

Then the news is that Obama, not the Republicans, suggested cuts to Social Security and Medicare during his talks on raising the deficit. (This may be a rumor, but my other points are not.)

The facts speak for themselves.

Obama is a nice guy, but he has not mentioned the idea of raising the cap on revenue subject to Social Security since he has been in office as far as I can tell. And how else is he going to "save" and "strengthen" Social Security and Medicare without cuts?
