5. You're right, most will be reelected. The general public votes, it part, for
'the name you know', and the incumbents know that.

Then too, there is this. Many people, and I've read it here too, say such things as "Well, MY senator/representative isn't one of them. She (or he) is one of the good ones."

The sad truth is, they are ALL like that.
