51. Depends on what one considers "poor" to mean.
Poor can mean being penniless, being deeply in debt, being underwater in their mortgage, being without many if any family members and/or friends, being homeless, being unable to save any money, being bankrupted, being unable to obtain credit, being unable to work, being unable find suitable, life-supporting employment, being unable to afford or obtain healthcare coverage, ect...

Poor is not something that can be easily measured, and a lifetime of hard work can be wiped out within several years, if not sooner, should sufficient misfortune be experienced, as that is what happened to my wife and I, both of us losing our jobs, due to my disability and hers being outsourced within two weeks of each other...all downhill from then on, and it happened quite shockingly fast, to be brutally honest.
