65. Should the wealthy and powerful be above the law?
That is the key question. I thought King Arthur settled this, that even a king should be subject to the law, but no, we have to keep fighting this fight. Since the Magna Carta, kings have officially had their "divine rights" limited. Yet the Magna Carta has faced many challenges. Our Declaration of Independence was mostly a list of complaints against the tyrannies committed by King George III. Every so often, we have to defend the law against the privileges of the powerful. Since Ford pardoned Nixon, we have needed to fight this fight.

Imagine for a moment the example it would set our children and the world if George W. Bush went to prison. No one, NO ONE should be above the law.
