23. Whoa! born & raised in Martins Ferry, OH

a throw away from St. Clairsville. - Now there coal has always been KING. My grandfather was killed in the coal mines - we had company towns there, unbelievable places; shacks where the miners lived and had to buy everything at the company store with script, streams running orange with runoff, stinking slag piles, those are the memories of my childhood. Family still living there. glad to be out West for many years now.
