what other functions it has. Anyone can make a shoot-em-up game but that isn't what makes it a good game. Exploration is a big one which I feel GTA & Fallout maximizes. Character building elements found in traditional RPGs. Good story line, the stories in some video games rival movies IMO. I could go on but it isn't something that somebody who never plays video games will understand.
