18. I never said all charters were "evil"...never thought it either.
I think that the bribe Arne offered for RTTT to cause more schools to become charters by turnaround, his and Obama's support for charters without realizing the inherent problems....all of those are serious side effects of careless deregulation and privatization.

Instead of "throwing money" at public education, they are swiftly "throwing money" at charters and management companies. And 50 million to TFA don't forget.

I gripe about what charters have become in the grasp of billionaires and their foundations. The original intent and idea behind was good.
