| 5. Sadly, there are probably no legal grounds for a suit. |

In most of the country, it is perfect legal to discriminate against LGBT people.
My boss can call me in this morning and fire me for it. My landlord could have thrown me out or refused to rent to me in the first place. Restaurants can refuse to seat me. Etc.
In most of the country, we have no legal protections.
