5. I never would have imagined America could sink so low to even consider her.
The fact that Palin, along with fools like Bachmann and Santorum, are actually discussed seriously as prospective Chief Executives of the "greatest nation ever" is a telling sign that we are no longer that. Our standards are so low! There is little concern for quality leadership any more.

In the long run, we will all get what the odious wingnuts deserve: a country in decline, a squandered opportunity for greatness, and heavy-handed corporate fascism under which we will all suffer. (All but the precious, vital top 2%, that is. They'll be just fine!)
