in that early Supra was about £2000 : not US$'s. By the time I got a new Supra beginning of 1988 they'd come down here to about £1500. I was selling photocopiers in those days. Some friends who'd migrated over to selling mobile phones predicted then that eventually they'd be almost giving them away with packets of Cornflakes....lol.
Company paid for mine and all the calls too. The amount I was earning them was such that they didn't bat an eyelid about getting call bills in @ c. £900 a month which I guess that as about$1600 then.
