it was portable but it was big and heavy. At that time it was really expensive but my father got it for me because I was out late hours and he was worried about my safety. I was on the nightowl plan where it was a little cheaper from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. The carrier was LA Cellular,it was a Motorola. I would still have it but someone stole it around 1995-96. :-(

edit: what I meant about still having it doesn't mean I wouldn't be using it. I would still have it in my possession, cause I keep everything.
