You've done nothing but make an ad hominem attack there. You haven't explained why it's not a comparable situation. This is because your basic premise - that insurance companies are the only ones who will benefit - it being compared to others who benefit whenever their services are provided.
How can you be against insuring more people? What if some of these people get sick? Under the status quo they will just owe a huge ER bill and possibly have to declare bankruptcy. But under the bill they'd be insured. But you'd give that up just to avoid a "gift to the insurance companies."
