the nation is in the toilet, and we have a choice between corruption with the Big Wall Street People running us further in the ground, or corruption with the Big Wall Street people running us further into the ground while we are required to submit to RW Christian fundamentalism.

This is not the country I grew up in.

But I guess it is how an oligarchy works.
