JACKSON, Miss. (AP) Republican U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker of Mississippi is picking up some additional duties for the next few months.

President Barack Obama announced Wednesday that he has appointed Wicker as one of three people to represent the United States at the 65th session of the United Nations General Assembly. Obama also appointed an alternate.

Wicker's staff says he will keep his job as senator and will have largely ceremonial duties to monitor activities of the U.N. /

Fuck. This. Shit.
