You don't pay off a maxed out credit card with minimum payments.

Bush has put this country in a deep hole and the small steps Obama has taken are nice but they are just that, too small. We need huge steps to be taken now and Obama is too risk-averse to take the bold steps needed to get us moving in the right direction. He wasted his first year by trying to be "bipartisan" and "reaching across the aisle". The Left knew that was a fool's errand but Obama and Rahm and Geithner and Summers were too busy cuddling with Goldman-Sachs and spooning with United Health to listen to us dirty fucking hippies and enact some real change and not just chump change.

FDR he ain't.
