15. The real issue is why does BP have such powerful influence on our political institutions.
Among its many crimes, BP has used the Coast Guard and FAA to keep journalists from documenting the true scope of the environmental catastrophe, and it has used Gestapo tactics to suppress and intimidate oil workers from telling the truth of what is transpiring in the Gulf and of what happened on the Deepwater Horizon rig.
