Being a trained elite (like you) I can usually spot attempts to treat humans with a set of tongs and 'objectify' the internet.

Now are you concerned with addiction?

DU is mostly made up of political people/operatives so they have virtually that whole list of yours covered? So whose left?

Lemme see...internet addicts like my friend Rob who is confined to a wheelchair and would have ended up eeking out life parked in malls getting vicarious thrills listening to other peoples' conversations and being helpful because he's a decent, inteligent guy who can't walk...

I turned him on to the internet back in the 90s...he became a enthusiastic and ACTIVE member of our society...he went on to...believe it or not...a highly visible member of the environmental movement here in BC.

(oh why do I know something about how people use the internet...I am in the biz and I service internet accounts for people like Rob at an honest price)
