- and you quoted him as saying "died on the cross for my sins". He didn't say YOUR sins or EVERYONES sins. He wasn't preaching, he was thanking those people who were important to him and him alone. Maybe we should all be more concerned about retaining the right to thank those who are important to us rather than be concerned that a few people may be offended by mere words that have no power over them.
