Have you ever seen a child throw a temper tantrum at the store? Obama is the parent, the screaming child is the Republicans. Rather than tell the child, "NO! You will not get that piece of candy until you learn to behave!" and remove the child from the store, Obama caves to the screaming child in the store. EVERY DARN TIME. Now, the kid may be spoiled, but it's really the parent at fault here. The adults in the room can't live by just responding to the crying around them, they have to set the agenda... y'know... find the child's interests, make sure there are activities, watch them closely, etc. Face it, Obama has been a poor "parent" to this country. Sometimes the screaming child needs a reality check. Sometimes the child needs to NOT GET what it wants (despite the fact it will make the Holidays miserable for the rest of the family).  |
