128. Fiscal Conservativism?
Really? You've bought into that tripe.

The fiscal conservatives are fraudulent and have been since before the First World War. They resist social spending, claiming budget balancing as their goal, but they then pursue major other forms of gov't spending. (In the last 30 years, this means defense.)

A large percentage of them equate fiscal conservatism with low taxes, when in fact, being a fiscal conservative should ALWAYS include both expenditures and revenues. And, if the cuts can't be made fast enough to prevent a deficit, then taxes need to be raised. You'll seldom hear any of those promote that, because they're really not about balancing budgets if it takes balancing it on the back of everyone equally. They just want to cut spending which has disproportionately taken a toll on lower income people.

The whole fiscal conservative/social liberal meme seems attractive, but it doesn't work in practice and its proponents have never actually walked their walk.
