My Gawd, one would think that this is Palin Underground, or worse yet, Faux news, given the free publicity that we give this woman and her brood. If we're not obsessing over Palin's latest tweet, reality show or hair style, we're delving into the wit and wisdom of her offspring, obsessing over what they say, do or did. Hell, people even bring in accounts of the doing of Palin's daughters' ex's just so that we are completely, thoroughly saturated in all things Palin.

Let's face it, if Palin runs, it is highly doubtful that she will get the Republican nod. She was a drag on the ticket in '08 and the old boys in the RNC power circle aren't going to let that happen in '12. If by some freak chance she does get the nod, the Obama, even with the left in revolt, is going to win re-election.

But the more we keep her in the spotlight, the more outraged we are about her, her family and her antics, the more publicity she gets, and as the old saying goes, any publicity is good publicity.

So stop it, just stop it right now. Stop following the Palin soap-opera. Stop breathlessly reporting on everytime she picks her nose or tweets some inanity. Deprive her and her family of grifters of the one thing they desperately need, publicity.

You do that, then she and her family will go away. Anything else is simply feeding the Palin publicity machine.
