The Russians put up a statue of Stalin in a park in one of the countries behind the Iron Curtain. Most people were furious, except for one old gentleman. When asked why he wanted the statue to remain, he said, "It protects us from the wind in winter and the sun in the summer, and lets the birds express what we all think." :)
