.... fucked up but that is no excuse to spend most of the resources spent on Wall Street instead of Main Street.
The perception (pretty much fair IMHO) that Obama was more focused on saving the banks than jobs are what cost him house.
Some would say that he had no choice and to some extent I would agree but coupled with the rest of his weak leadership and promise-breaking it really moved a lot of Independents back to the R column and probably left a lot of people who would normally vote disinterested.
